Swedish singer Miriam Aïda blends the traditional Brazilian music with the great songs by Swedish songwriter, sung in Swedish and arranged by Miriam Aïda and trio : Mats Andersson – acoustic guitar, and Ola Bothzén – percussion.

Miriam Aida debuted on record in 2002 with Jan Lundgren Trio ‘Presents Miriam Aida and Fredrik Kronkvist’ and has toured in Sweden and internationally with various bands and groups. She is also the lead singer of the Swedish bossa Group A Bossa Eletrica and music project Meu Brasil.

She is married to saxophonist Fredrik Kronkvist and with him runs the Monk jazz club in their hometown Malmö, and also runs the Connective record label.
