NEW STUDIO ALBUM from the 'Next Generation' bluesman who has now been touring internationally for some 30 years and recording in his own right since end-1989 during which time he has established himself as an individual performer and composer and not simply the 'chip off the old block' of his late father Luther Allison who died prematurely of cancer in 1997. Mind you Bernard possesses the same sort of soulful voice as Luther had and he now plays his dad's old guitar but most of these songs are his own. He says of the album "Musically and lyrically this is definitely a mature effort. I've been through a lot since the passing of my father. I'm married and I have started my own family. This music comes from everyday responsibility and lifestyle." For the first time he is joined in the studio by his road band Mike Vlahakis (keyboards) Jassen Wilber (bass)
