The Angel Brothers are Dave & Keith Angel, Dave Formula, Andy Seward, Harprit Singh Sahata, Jim Lockey and Jim Adnitt. Continuing their extraordinarily eclectic take on music making, here they cite Ennio Morricone, David Axelrod, Roy Budd, John Barry, Brian Fahey and Alan Hawkshaw among the unlikely influences of this particular brew. Then as well as their own folk, funk and Punjabi roots there are a range of guests such as the passionate Andalucian vocals of Lara Lopez from Seville via Manchester, Hensleigh Pine's Jamaican-Doncaster hybrid rootsman, Jay-D's soaring North Indian-West Midlands tones and Ian McMillan's Barnsley brogue all adding to the mix. Other guests are Jayne Cooper (vocals) and Becki Driscoll (fiddle).
