This CD contains Chet Baker's complete concert at the Masonic Temple Ann Arbor on May 9 1954 with Russ Freeman piano Carson Smith bass And Bob Neel drums. plus five outstanding bonus tracks from the trumpeter's celebrated Tiffany Club performance in Los Angeles on August 10 1954. Both dates were on Baker's first national US tour - nearly four months at key jazz venues. Baker is in top form musically at Ann Arbor And in good spirits getting laughter from the audience. A far cry from the often dark withdrawn troubled artist of his later career.
