This DVD is a celebration in archive film of the very best and most famous of British military pomp, pageantry and parades. The music, dash and daring of the military tattoos of yesteryear at Aldershot, Bordon Camp and Cardiff, as well as at the much missed Royal Tournament with its stunning set pieces like Beating The Retreat, the Massed Bands, the Kings Troop Musical Drive and Naval Gun Run -all of which are featured in historic archive. The regular ceremonial events of London are explained in detail; the Changing Of The Guard, the Trooping Of The Colour, the Armistice Day Parade and the Honourable Artillery Company firing their gun salute, and the Ceremony Of The Keys at the Tower Of London. The Tower also has some other less well known traditions that hint at its murky past such as the Constables Inauguration and the Beating Of the Boundaries.
