Robert Regos (prpf. - *) Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra cond. Lucas Vis. Early And late works by John Cage make up Volume 8 in the 'Musica Viva' series. The Concerto for Prepared Piano is one of his last major 'composed' pieces before he began to devote himself fully to 'controlled chance' as a compositional method - And this is the first recording of Sixty-eight (the title denotes the number of players involved) a major work from the last year of the composer's life. Brand-new live recordings.
