Details:
A 2 CD set from the internationally famous is Johnny Cash. Born in 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas, he went to the army in 1950, where he wrote his song ‘Folsom Prison Blues', which was to become one of his first great hits in 1956. In 1954, after leaving the army, he went to Memphis, Tennessee. There founded together with Luther Perkins and Marshall Grant a new band: Johnny Cash & TheTennesseeTwo. In 1971 the single ‘Man In Black' was released. ‘Man In Black' was also to become his second name, and his black clothing became as legendary as the usual start of every Cash-concert since 1956: “Hello, I'm Johnny Cash”. The tracklist includes ‘Folsom Prison Blues', ‘I Walk The Line', ‘Give My Love to Rose', ‘Frankie & Johnny', ‘Big River', ‘Get Rhythm' and many more.
