The true sound of the 3rd millennium has not yet been established. Music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and even the 90’s are still more than ever pertinent, thanks to Béatrice Ardisson. Claude CHALLE met talented DJ Khalid while he was hanging out at Comptoir Darna run by his friend Marcel Chiche. They are both in search of all sorts of music waves. They also both live, breathe and get their inspiration from Marrakech air, a city full of warmth and sensual emotions.• Khalid started his career in Casablanca, his native town. Since 2000, he welcomes a very musically aware and international public at the Comptoir de Marrakech, from dusk until dawn.
