Released 24/11/08. The first ever DVD to feature one of the great New-Wave acts of the late 1970's The Fleshtones. The band formed in 1976 and were a staple of the new-wave / garage-rock scene that dominated New York in the late 70 s / early 80's playing regularly at the likes of CBGB s and becoming the very first band to play in legendary 70's venues such as Irving Plaza and the Danceteria in Manhatten and Maxwell s in New Jersey. They both rehearsed and gigged with their peers such as the Ramones and Blondie. They were snapped up by Police manager Miles Copeland's IRS Records and went on to record four albums for the label all the time building a significant live following. For over thirty years the band have recorded and toured playing around the world to their everloyal fanbase and are still going as strong as ever. Live At The Hurrah Club features a full-length performance from the band at New York's legendary venue from the early 1980 s bonus material comes from a performance at the NY Rocker Party event.
