The former album featuring Kenny BurrellWally Richardson Ben Tucker Ray Lucas And Willie Rodriguez ; the latter featuring BurrellTommy Flanagan Wendell Marshall Lucas And Rodriguez. Both albums show Jacquet developing a more relaxed & lyrical side to his playing - as on his beautiful Ben Webster-esque version of You're My Thrill÷ included here. Also featured is the track "Bassoon Blues" which was Jacquet's recorded debut on that instrument. Total Time : 66 :08 He's so great they named a state after him. ÷Dorothy Donegan"
