The iconic LP that launched the Free Reed label Plain Capers was John Kirkpatrick's definitive 1976 album of Morris Dance Tunes from the Cotswolds. After his major input into the experimental Morris On LP in 1972 this logical progression in the revival became the premier source for all the magical marvellous excitement of the Morris v and the Free Reed label never looked back.
