The cover portraits from this series have been created by the Hamburg artist Rainer Müller-Tombrink in a unique kind of photographic painting. Each set consists of 4CDs and a 20-page English/ German booklet.Here Mendelssohn's masterpieces are re-interpreted by celebrated musicians such as Jascha Heifetz, David Oistrakh and Isobel Baillie among many others.
