Once billed as a singer of romantic standards in the style of Johnny Mathis, JOHNNY NASH achieved his greatest success when he visited Jamaica in the 1960s and developed his world-famous reggae-influenced style. For his 1972 album I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW, Nash worked with Bob Marley and the Wailers, then still a struggling group from Kingston, Jamaica.
