Now where will all this end? Here we have a transcription for piano And viola by Jacques Drillon (who writes the persuasive booklet note) of Liszt's transcription for piano solo of Schubert's posthumous lieder cycle. For those familiar with the original this version may either intrigue Or appal (perhaps both at once!) while for those who don't know Schwanengesang it may not matter anyway. Worth a listen though for sure!
