This double album contains the first two ‘solo’ albums by Jerry ‘SwampDogg’ Williams : Total Destruction To Your Mind (1970) and RatOn (1971). Two slices of prime funky southern soul, sometimes mellow sometimesraunchy - all produced, arranged and written by Swamp Dogg, andrecorded at the Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia with top musicians. The music has lost none of its ‘60s R&B’ appeal while the often pointed,political, cynical or tongue in cheek lyrics, are just as appropriate today aswhen the albums were originally released.
