Info: Trinity is an exciting new trio featuring Norway's rising tenor Sax star Kjetil MOster in a classic acoustic trio format (a la Sonny Rollins etc. ) The drummer Thomas StrOnen And bassist Ingebrikt Haker Flaten are one of the busiest rhythm sections in Scandinavia - And have played in groups such as : Bugge Wesseltoft's New Conception of Jazz Food Atomic Close Erase Scorch Trio School Days Element And Jazzmob among others. "Sparkling" is a beautiful album with everything from subtle spiritual moods to swinging post-hard bop! All the music is free improvisations And the album is a great example of what can happen when three great musicians get together in the studio And just play for fun And let it happen! This album has been recently advertised in Jazzwise And The Wire. Reviews are upcoming And UK concerts are being planned.
