Formed in Manchester in the mid-Nineties via a mutual love of all things beat-driven and soulful, Rae and Christian (in tandem with their label Grand Central) have been instrumental in creating a new hip hop aesthetic in the UK. Their debut album, Northern Sulphuric Soul, was one of the finest debut albums of the past ten years, These boys know how to cut a dancefloor rug.
