Details:
A double CD of folk tales which have been dramatised by original soundtracks. Though participants are all based in Scotland the cast includes storytellers from Japan, Canada and Africa.

Once the stories were chosen producer Marion Kenny chose combinations of instruments which would enhance each storyteller’s voice and suit the atmosphere of their tale. It was then up to the musicians to improvise a setting before finally entering the recording studio where the words and music were woven together
