This historic show was made in New York in December 1957 for the CBS "Seven Lively Arts" series by filmaker Jack Smight. Contains memorable sequences for example : Prez's superb solo on Billie Holiday's "Fine & Mellow; Monk's "Blue Monk" with Basie looking on; Jimmy Giuffre's "Train & The River"; Jimmy Rushing with the Basie band; And many more.
