Info: Recordings on the Trumpet label made when Sonny Boy Williamson was already a middle-aged man but the power of his intense vibrato-fuelled Vocals And caustic harmonica playing remained undiminished throughout his remaining years. Later Checker releases brought him to the attention of British blues afficionados but included here are classics such as Nine Below Zero Eyesight to the Blind And Stop Crying Elmore James among the backing musicians (the Houserockers)
